XSR900

LEGEND REBORN

With timeless design inspired by Yamaha’s legendary racing heritage and the sheer power of its renowned CP3 powerplant, the XSR900 is the rebirth of a legend.

NEW FOR 2025

New Five-Inch TFT

A new five-inch full-color TFT display provides the rider with the option of four different themes to suit specific riding situations or individual preference, including a XSR-exclusive theme featuring an analog-style tachometer. The new display is navigated through all-new integrated handlebar switches.

Smartphone Connectivity

Riders can now link their smartphone to the new TFT display via Yamaha's free Y-Connect app to receive message notifications, calls and listen to music (through use of an aftermarket Bluetooth® headset, not provided). Additionally, full turn-by-turn navigation is available through the Garmin® StreetCross app to make each journey easier.

New Customizable YRC Ride Modes

Owners can customize their riding experience via new Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) settings, which allow the selection of engine power characteristics and electronic intervention levels to suit conditions or rider preference. For quick, easy selections, three integrated riding modes are programmed with factory settings to suit different situations: SPORT, STREET and RAIN. Additionally, riders can create two custom programs with tailored settings to suit exact preferences. YRC settings can be customized either directly within the dashboard menu or on a smartphone via the Y-Connect app.

New Back Slip Regulator

A new Back Slip Regulator (BSR) reduces rear wheel lock up under engine braking by controlling the level of torque supplied to the wheel. This system shines in low-grip situations or other scenarios when it is difficult for the slipper clutch to perform.

New Yamaha Variable Speed Limiter

An additional key technological feature offered on the new 2025 XSR900 is the Yamaha Variable Speed Limiter (YVSL) which gives the rider the ability to set a top-speed limit for the motorcycle to ensure a rider-selected speed is not unintentionally exceeded.

New Third-Generation Quickshifter

The 2025 XSR900 is equipped with Yamaha's new third-generation Quick Shift System (QSS), now enabling quick, clutchless upshifts and downshifts under both acceleration and deceleration. This system makes full-on acceleration more exciting and downshifting faster and smoother with less chassis disruption when changing gears. When a sensor on the shift rod detects movement in the gearshift pedal, adjustments are made in the engine output according to ECU calculations to instantly cancel out the drive torque of the engaged gear to promote swifter shifting of gears.

New KYB® Rear Suspension

A new fully adjustable KYB® monoshock features preload, high- and low-speed compression, and rebound adjustment, along with a revised linkage design for an enhanced feeling of traction at the rear.

New Switchgear & Turn Signal Functions

Yamaha's next-generation switchgear features a new joystick design with button shape and feel extensively refined to provide intuitive operation in a compact, easy-to-use solution. New turn signal functions further enhance the riding experience. A soft click of the indicator switch will flash the turn signals three times, while a full click will flash continuously. Turn signals also self-cancel after 15 seconds and once the bike has travelled for more than 500 feet.

Enhanced Ergonomic Touches

The new 2025 XSR900 features a number of specific ergonomic enhancements including an updated seat design for improved rider and passenger comfort, new handlebar shape, new rubber-mounted footpegs, revised shift lever shape, a new 14-position adjustable clutch lever and new dash-mounted USB-C outlet.

TOP FEATURES

Retro Influence, Modern Style

The striking look of the next generation Yamaha XSR900 is apparent from every angle. With the tank design, exposed aluminum frame and side silhouette drawing clear inspiration from iconic Yamaha race bikes of the past, there is also an unmistakably modern design element underscoring the machine's high-performance capabilities. Full LED lighting, new full-color five-inch TFT display and a host of premium touches including drilled fork caps, machined headlight stays, forged brake pedal, hidden passenger pegs, blacked-out levers, darkened brake reservoirs, bar-end mirrors, embossed aluminum rear underplate and aluminum XSR logo all combine to reflect modernity and a high level of fit and finish.

Powerful 890cc Yamaha CP3 Engine

The XSR900's renowned 890cc DOHC crossplane crankshaft three-cylinder engine provides thrilling power and broad, linear torque for outstanding acceleration across the rev range.

Tuned Triple Soundtrack

Enhancing the unique soundtrack of the crossplane triple-cylinder powerplant, Yamaha engineers carefully designed the intake system incorporating differing cross section and length air ducts tuned so induction noises resonate harmoniously at varying wavelengths. Two functional air intake vents located on either side of the fuel tank further boost the mid- and high-rpm induction sound traveling to the rider for a greater sense of acceleration.

Sophisticated Six-Axis IMU with Rider Aids

State-of-the-art six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) features two sensors that measure three-axis angular velocity and three-axis acceleration. Data is transmitted to the ECU which controls an expansive suite of rider aids, including a lean sensitive Traction Control System, Slide Control System (SCS), front Wheel Lift Control System (LIF) and Brake Control (BC) System with lean sensitive ABS. Each can be adjusted for different levels of intervention or turned off completely depending on rider preference.

CF Die-Cast Aluminum Frame

The compact, lightweight aluminum frame is manufactured using Yamaha's Controlled Fill (CF) die-cast technology, making it possible to produce complex frame structures lighter and stronger than conventional casting methods. Featuring the thinnest sections ever for a Yamaha die-cast frame at just 1.7 mm, overall weight is reduced while the balance of longitudinal, lateral and torsional rigidity has been refined, enhancing straight-line stability and transmitting excellent feedback to the rider.

Yamaha Exclusive Lightweight SpinForged Wheels

Through Yamaha's exclusive spinforging process, sporty 10-spoke aluminum wheels enhance looks while significantly reducing unsprung weight. The result is improved suspension action and decreased moment of inertia for a more responsive feel, especially during cornering and braking. The 2025 XSR900 also comes equipped with new high performance Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tires.

Why Buy a Pre-Owned Motorcycle at BMW Motorcycles of Concord?

Choosing between new or pre-owned BMW Motorcycles can be one of the most complex decisions that you have to take. On the one hand, there is a risk of issues evolving after you purchase a pre-owned motorcycle, while on the other hand, new ones may tend to go out of your budget. However, the risks involved in buying a pre-owned motorcycle can be reduced or even eliminated if you buy from our BMW, Triumph, and Ducati Motorcycle dealership near Berkeley, CA. You’ll see why motorcycles like the 2022 Triumph Trident 660, the 2020 Ducati Multistrada 1260, and the 2021 BMW R 18 are amazing.

What Benefits Will You Gain If You Buy a Pre-Owned Motorcycle from BMW Motorcycles of Concord?

If you belong to the list of people who have recently developed an interest in riding a motorcycle and want a premium motorcycle for themselves, or if you’re looking to upgrade your motorcycle, buying a pre-owned motorcycle may serve several benefits to you. Let’s take a look at the benefits you’ll get if you consider purchasing a used motorcycle from BMW Motorcycles of Concord.

    No Extra Costs

When buying pre-owned motorcycles, you can save a handsome amount of money as there aren’t any additional costs involved. For example, since all expenses like road tax, RTO charges, and registration charges are already paid by the first owner, you won’t have to pay them again.

The only cost you will have to pay is the motorcycle’s fixed amount that the motorcycle dealership requests.

    Better Return on Value

It is a fact that the depreciation rate of a brand-new motorcycle is larger than the depreciation rate of a used motorcycle. On average, a new motorcycle loses approximately 50 percent of its value in the first five years after being purchased. After this time, the rate of depreciation tends to slow down.

Hence, if you get a pre-owned motorcycle near Oakland, CA, or near Richmond, CA, you are highly likely to get it at a much lower price. Even if you decide to sell it after some time and at a different location near Berkeley, CA, or near San Francisco, CA, you won’t lose much money.

Why Should You Trust Our Dealership?

We at BMW Motorcycles of Concord have a new and used motorcycle inventory that also includes the 2022 Triumph Trident 660, the 2020 Ducati Multistrada 1260, and the 2021 BMW R 18 for sale. We assure our client base that they can put their trust in us, and we back up our claims by ensuring transparency and honesty in all of our dealings.

One other reason why you should trust us is that our BMW, Ducati, and Triumph Motorcycle Dealership happens to be one of the most prestigious dealerships in Concord, CA.
