BMW Motorcycles of Concord is happy to share in the unveiling of the new BMW C 400 GT at the 2018 EICMA in Milan. This BMW touring scooter is a long-range version of the popular C 400 X. It’s designed to meet the demands of city travel while increasing comfort for the rider, and we can’t wait for it to come to our dealership in the near future. The new BMW C 400 GT features a single-cylinder efficiently-optimized engine which outputs 34 horsepower. It’s the same one used with the C 400 X. The power is transmitted with a CVT gearbox and stiff drivetrain swing arm that produces minimum vibration. It also comes with ASC, otherwise known as Automatic Stability Control to ensure your safety while accelerating, even on slippery terrain.
Just like the C 400 X, this C 400 GT has a steel tube-shaped space frame. The suspension features a telescopic fork in the front with two spring struts in the rear. This ensures a dynamic and sporty riding experience while offering plenty of comfort.
There’s also an optional 6.5-inch color dash control display that includes navigation, phone and music controls. Riders can also utilize the updated storage system which consists of a flex-case under the seat and two glove boxes.
Finally, choose from two different paint finishes for the BMW C 400 GT. It’s available in Moonwalk Grey or Alpine White. These showcase the dynamic sense of Gran Turismo. A third color option, Blackstorm Metallic, showcases the high-quality appeal of this scooter.
